I dug this album out after recently checking out a ton of Latin music. This one struck me because, A) tango is always interesting and, B) the music remains traditional but has its own spin on things with the dj doing a great job with the blending. Without putting the rest of the compilation down, track 9 (Naranjo En Flor) is absolutely amazing, I'd recommend everyone to give that one a go (and feel free to ask me for it if you like). The first track is also impressive (Monserrat), being a little more 'energetic' than the extremely chilled-out ninth track. Another thing that makes this album stand out is its diversity in sound. Even though it remains a tango-esque album the production is such that you have your chilled, slower tracks along with your electrifying, dancy (dancy's actually a word, no lie) tracks. It's this diversity that makes it more impressive because, let's face it, unless your a skilled tango dancer or enthusiast it would all get slightly repetitive after a while. Enjoy.

This is a pretty nice album.
Let me get started before i forget, right, it starts off good, put it on, and you can drift off and concentrate on other things without it demanding you listen to it, but then you get track 5, Maroma, that song is a little too nuts for me. When that crazy 4 and a half minutes is over its back to normal. Have to say though, track 9 wasnt as chilled as i expected, thought it would be more Air - All i need-esque, but its a tad more uptempo than that, but its all good, i think that track 13, Forma is probably the stand out chilled track for me (i repeat, for me, beacuse i know how you're this big dnb nut now...all fast beats, poppin e's and lots of water! lol)
Anyway, good album, think it'll be staying in the 'keep' folder. Thanks for the recommendation.
(for those who think indy is a responsible member of society, he's not, but the e thing was just a joke...he's on a lot heavier stuff!)
